Psalm 111:4

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. Who he is, is how we ought to live. Do our lives reflect doing good for others especially when they cannot accomplish it for themselves? God did that in salvation. Do we suffer with people or ignore them. God didn't. He has compassion for us and dwelt among us. His function as our intercessor is founded on his compassion. Do we pray for others with compassion? We become like the one we worship - either gracious and compassionate or like the dead idols of materialism, selfishness, pride and anger. The choice is clear.
Which one do you want to be like??
