John 19:25

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas and Mary Magdalene. There is no Christianity without a cross. Crosses are painful. They mark your life permanently. They are personal and will cost the persons around you much. But without the cross there can be no redemption for anyone..not you not me not those we love. Pick up your cross and follow him. The cross is not a twig. It will be heavy. You cannot be a disciple of Jesus without bearing his cross.
