Jeremiah 17:5-8

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters.... how deep are your roots in trusting the Lord. Trust means full dependence....confidence in his person and complete surrender to his paths. You deeply trust when you consistently seek him first, early and often when life is good, so that when life gets difficult you will have sufficient roots to supply your every need. Time with him first shows you trust him first.
