Proverbs 18:8

The words of a gossip are like choice morsels. They go down to the inmost parts. Gossip always goes down because it takes others down. They make the speaker look good and the object of the gossip look bad. Always..there is therefore an immediate effect deep inside, deep down...trust for one or the other is destroyed..influencing others to try to get them to believe them over someone else by powerful negative words. Jeremiah 8 is a better model..consume God's words in us and the negative will not take hold of us.
