No servant can serve two masters. You cannot serve God and wealth. Sacrifice is inevitable. When you choose mediocrity you sacrifice greatness. There is a cost to every choice you make. If the point of following Jesus is to lose your life. You cannot follow him and keep your idea of a good life..we cannot serve two masters. You will have to sacrifice something no matter which way you go. Make sure your decision is worth the gain of ever lasting life.
